Today I finally visited David Bowies memorial painting in London, Brixton. (Thanks Dad)
The painting is situated on the wall of Morley’s department store, in Tunstall Road. It is inspired by the album cover of the Thin White Duke’s 1973 record Aladdin Sane. This beautiful mural was made in 2013 by James Cochran, An Australian street artist also known as ‘JimmyC’ and has since become a shrine for Bowie lovers.
The mural is just as magical in person as it is in photographs and is definitely one to tick off the bucket list. (Top place to visit in London)
